The BrakeQuip BQ45 Thread Adaptor converts a standard 3/8-24 NF SAE inverted flare fitting to a 7/16-24 NS thread — the Ford “special” thread used on many older Ford and Mercury master cylinders and wheel cylinders that doesn’t match standard SAE hardware.
