The BrakeQuip BQ4442 is an M8 x 1.25 bleed screw, the hollow, valved bolt threaded into a caliper or wheel cylinder that’s opened during a brake bleed to let trapped air (and old fluid) escape. M8 x 1.25 is a common metric bleeder thread across import and domestic calipers. Replace a bleed screw that’s rounded off, seized, or leaking rather than fighting with the original — they’re inexpensive relative to the caliper they protect.
