The BrakeQuip BQ9197 is a male M14 x 1.5mm brake line fitting for 5/16 in. OD tubing. 5/16 in. line is used on heavier-duty applications — larger trucks, commercial vehicles, and some hydraulic clutch lines — where 3/16 or 1/4 in. line and fittings aren’t rated for the volume or pressure involved.
